This weekend I’m going to a 20 year class reunion. It’s not mine, I just thought I would crash one in the area that’s supposed to be really good.
I also crashed a wedding this year, so I’m thinking of making it a bucket list thing.
Other events to crash:
A bar mitzvah
A birthday party with a bounce house
A first date (I guess I’ve crashed a few of my own first dates now that I think about it)
The birth of someone’s child
Did you notice that they’re escalating in awkwardness?
So I was actually invited to this reunion and therefore can’t consider myself a crasher. I can’t lie, that does remove some of the excitement factor.
Sherri (the bff) called me and said her husband might be out of town and asked would I be her date? And of course I said yes, because that’s what best friends do. Also, I’m hoping there will be a free meal for me in this deal since I’m moving into my frugal living state of being. I haven’t cancelled cable yet, but I’m scouting out free meals. Still working on priorities; it’s an uphill battle.
And for a little comparison, this is my ideal weekend:
And these are the plans of a girl who has more on her weekend to do list then I have on my entire month of weekends to do list (refer back to the cat passed out in the donut box above, aka ‘me’):
What are your plans for the weekend? Comment and let me know!
